The Antminer S19 J by Bitmain is a SHA256 ASIC miner that was released in 2020. This mining machine has a maximum hashrate of 90 TH/s for a power consumption of 3250 watts, and is a popular choice for BTC miners. It is slightly inferior to the PRO line, but it is still efficient and profitable.
Installing the ASIC Miner is quite a time-consuming process. It needs to be set up and connected to a mining pool. To simplify the process for the user, ECOS takes care of all the installation challenges. Pre-installation check, installation, configuration and connection to the mining pool is included in the ASIC + Hosting package.
1. ECOS-M is responsible for any malfunction of equipment arising during the period of 6 months after the purchase on this website.
2. ECOS company will provide the repair of equipment during this warranty period.
3. What happens after the purchase?
Within 2 weeks after receiving the payment, ECOS will place the equipment in its data center. The rig will be pre-checked, connected to the power grid as well as the mining pool and configured. After that, the device will start working. The mined Bitcoins will be transferred directly to the buyer's wallet. The buyer will be able to track the process in their personal account in the app.
4. For how long will the equipment be placed on the farm?
The average service life of an ASIC is 4 years, but you can request it for shipping at any time.
5. What will happen after the placement period expires?
If the equipment is out of order and can’t be restored, there are two options. ECOS will either ship the rig to its buyer or keep it in the data center and dispose of it.
6. Can you ship the equipment to the buyer?
Yes, we can — but not immediately after the purchase. ECOS provides the full scope of services. That’s why the rig can be shipped to its buyer with extra pay for the shipping.
7. What is the cost and delivery time for the equipment?
The cost of the shipping and the delivery time are calculated individually. It depends on the buyer’s country of residence.
8. What are the guarantees after 6 months of the rig’s exploitation at the farm?
Each case of equipment failure after 6 months of exploitation is considered individually. The rig rarely breaks down prematurely — but if this happens, ECOS will do everything possible to help its buyer. You can repair the equipment at the ECOS service center with a spare parts store and a maintenance team trained at the manufacturer. Alternatively, we can send it to you if you prefer to repair it yourself. The cost of repair depends on the specific problem that occurred with the device. After 6 months, ECOS, for its part, guarantees that the equipment breakdown will be promptly detected if it takes place. ECOS also guarantees to provide all possible repair options.
The Definitive Guide To Antminer S19 Series Bitcoin Miners
Antminer by Bitmain is the world's most popular and profitable series of rigs for Bitcoin mining. Below, you’ll find a brief history, pricing and key characteristics of this equipment.
Overview Of The Antminer S19-Series
Today, this series includes the following models:
- Antminer S19
- Antminer S19 Pro
- Antminer S19j
- Antminer S19j Pro
- Antminer T19
- Antminer S19 XP
- Antimner S19 Hydro
- Antimner S19 XP Hydro
- Antminer S19 Pro+ Hydro
The last four are the newest ones. The first five ones have been around long enough and have proven their efficiency among a large international user base.
The trailblazer S19 model hit the market in 2020. Its Pro counterpart and the T19 machine quickly followed suit. In 2021, the demand for the recently released S19j and S19j Pro versions was mind-blowing. The manufacturer had to deliver several hundred thousand of these machines to mining companies alone.
Compared to its predecessor, the S17 series, the S19 one can boast lower power consumption and a lower failure rate. Below, we’ll share the technical specifications of the most popular models.
Antminer S19
It’s the “face” of the series. Its tech specs are 95 TH/s, 3250 W and 34 W/TH.
Antminer S19 Pro
This model has the highest maximum hash rate of all, 110 TH/s. It needs 3250 W of power and its energy efficiency is 29.5 W/TH.
Antminer S19j
Thanks to a slightly lower hash rate of 90 TH/s, this one has a more affordable price tag. Its power efficiency is 36 W/TH and it needs 3250 W of energy.
Antminer S19j Pro
This model is available in three variations, with a maximum hash rate of 96, 100 or 104 TH/s. Its power consumption is 2832 / 3050 / 3082 W, respectively. Its energy efficiency is 29.5 W/TH.
Antminer T19
It’s an affordable device with a relatively low maximum hash rate of either 84 or 88TH/s. Nevertheless, it’s enough to secure substantial income for its owner. The energy efficiency of this model is 38W/TH. It requires 3150 / 3344 W of power.
Prices Of Antminer S19-Series Mining Rigs
The cost of the rig fluctuates depending on the BTC price. Initially, the S19 model was pre-sold at below $3,000 and the Bitcoin value at that moment was below $10,000. At the end of 2020, the Bitcoin bull run began. In mid-Spring 2021, this cryptocurrency cost over $60,000, which was a historical record. Accordingly, the price of the Antminer equipment rose by around 4 times.
Since then, the cost of the ASIC has been going up and down together with the crypto market. The Antminer hardware remains worth every cent you invest in it. If the Bitcoin price skyrockets in the foreseeable future, the profitability of mining will far outweigh the increased difficulty of the process and the cost of the rig will continue to grow.
Antminer S19-Series Mining Rig Profitability
In such a resource-intensive and volatile business as mining, it’s especially important to make data-driven decisions. To estimate your upcoming expenses and income, you can use our online calculator. It will take into account the current price of the BTC, the difficulty of mining, your ASIC’s performance and your energy expenses.
The crypto market is much more volatile than its stock counterpart. Yet you can generate a sustainable profit from it if you choose the right ASIC, fine-tune its settings properly and find ways to cut down your electricity expenses.
Bitmain Antminer S19 / S19 Pro Bitcoin Mining Setup Guide
Below, we’ll provide a step-by-step guide on installing and setting up the most popular Antminer model.
Installation
You don’t need to be tech-savvy to cope with these steps:
- Connect the miner to a PSU. It doesn’t matter whether the latter was built specifically for mining or for servers.
- Plug in all the PSU cables to the headers at the top side of your Antminer.
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the router and the other to the ASIC.
- Turn on the PSU.
- Make sure your smartphone or computer is connected to the same network as the Antminer.
- Specify the IP address of your ASIC. Most likely, you won’t have to type it in — instead, scan the information from the router.
- Press the IP Report button on the controller board.
Keep holding the button down until it beeps.
Configuration of Network Settings
This stage is genuinely simple:
- Open an Internet browser
- Type in your Antminer’s IP address
- Specify your username and password
- Switch to the Network tab
- Open the Protocol dropdown menu
- Click Static
- Type in the IP address and the other required details
Save and apply the changes.
Mining Pool Setup
You won’t have to take care of port numbers or regional settings. The TCP connection of your Antminer will be automatically proxied to the nearest available region. If there are any issues with this region, the rig won’t put up with a low hash rate and will redirect itself to another territory.
At this stage, you’ll be asked to manually type in the pool settings. Please avoid using special characters in your workername because the name might be classified as invalid. In the last step, save and apply the changes.
Monitoring revenue and miner performance on ECOS
The ECOS team will guide you through this part of the process. You’ll be able to track the performance of your equipment through a mobile app. The content will be represented in a highly comprehensive manner. You’ll see at a glance how much you’ve earned per given period. You’ll appreciate the simplicity and transparency of this approach.
